Objectives

Each student will use Google Docs to create a mock social media page for a person who has made a significant contribution to our thinking, culture, or society.

 

Benchmarks for Technology Standards

Students will know the characteristics, uses, and basic features of computer software programs, including:

• using the common features of desktop publishing and word processing software

• knowing that documents can be created, designed, and formatted

• using a word processor to print and/or view text

Before You Create

In this assignment, you will start by doing some research to find out 3 - 5 important facts about one of the people listed below. Then, you will create a mock social media page for that person, including the important facts that you found through your research.The page must also have a picture of the person.

Below the picture and facts, create a comments section. In this section include appropriate comments from other important people that would have been alive at the same time as the person you chose, and a picture of each.

3. Research to find 3-5 people other important people that were alive during the same time period as

    your person.

4. Go to your Drive to get the instructions for this project.
